The hydroponic system allows growing green fodder at a wider temperature range of 15–35°C and humidity range of 70–80% without fungal growth. Hydroponic technology is environmentally friendly and provides green fodder free from contamination, helping improve the quantity and quality of milk and meat production.

It is one of the modern strategic projects and for the first time in Iraq. It works by installing special units that produce green fodder throughout the year using new technology.
